Hello there and happy new year to you and yours...
You may recall that back in 2004 Paul played a series of forest dates to sell-out crowds in stunning woodland locations. This June, he returns with a number of dates as part of the Forestry Commission Live Music 2009 providing a spectacular opportunity to catch the Modfather in out of the ordinary and beautiful settings.
He will be performing at:
Thetford Forest, Near Brandon, Suffolk, Friday 5th June
Delamere Forest, Delamere, Cheshire, Friday 12th June
Sherwood Pines Forest Park, Near Edwinstowe, Notts, Fri 19th June
Westonbirt Arboretum, Near Tetbury, Glos, Saturday 20th June
Cannock Chase Forest, Near Rugeley, Staffs, Friday 26th June
Dalby Forest, Near Pickering, N Yorks, Saturday 27th June
Tickets will go on general sale this Friday (16th) from 9am. They will cost £33.00 (subject to booking fee) from the Forestry Commission Box Office 01842 814612, online at www.forestry.gov.uk/music or over the counter from the venue.
However, to enable Weller fans to get first dibs, there will be a pre-sale to the Weller.com fanbase starting 24 hours earlier this Thursday (15th) at 9am. The link for the pre-sale tickets is here but please note that this will not become active until 9am on Thursday 15th January.
Any concerns about the environmental impact on these shows can be reassured by the fact that the tour will be self-sustaining, paying for itself, and also providing valuable revenue to plough back into the woodland in a variety of environmental and social projects.

cmaping at dalby is notoriously difficult im afraid, keep checking back on the dalby website for details but they like to have everyone out on a night unless you are staying in the designated site about 2 mile away from the venue
